-    NBA TALKS EUROPEAN DIVISION BUT NEVER HYPED EUROS AT ALL-STAR WEEKEND

The NBA has thought about expansion to Europe for years and with new NBA Commissioner Adam Silver taking over for David Stern, the talk is about a European division in future NBA plans, to keep growing in an international and global way, but in past NBA All-Star weekends, the NBA has hyped up WNBA women players more than the European NBA players that are in the league and have not put together an international All-Star game, to let the casual NBA fan know who these European players are and give the European and other international players a showcase to show their skills. The international All-Star game would bring more international media to the All-Star weekend and players like Goran Dragic, who got slapped in the face with an All-Star SNUB by the American based NBA coaches, would have more than a STUPID POINT GUARD SKILLS CHALLENGE to show his total game to NBA fans and international basketball fans all over the world. The NBA has the Rising Stars game on Friday night of the All-Star weekend and EUROJOHNBBALL thinks an International game should be put into the future years of the All-Star game Weekend, with international players chosen for the two teams that did not make the Sunday All-Star game, the only international players to make the Sunday game this year were Dirk Nowitzki of Germany and Tony Parker and Joakim Noah of the French national team. The fact that the NBA hypes up WNBA women players during their All-Star weekend more than the European players already in the NBA, is just crazy to EUROJOHNBBALL. The NBA should just forget about the Shooting Stars challenge, that has WNBA players Elena Delle Donne, Swin Cash, Skylar Diggins and Becky Hammon featured with NBA players and NBA legends, the NBA should just put another legend out there instead of watching WNBA players on an NBA ALL-Star weekend. The WNBA is a niche sport and no matter how much the NBA hypes it up in commercials or on NBA All-Star Saturday with NBA players, the ratings will only be so much for the WNBA, but if the NBA took as much time to hype the European NBA players up during the NBA All-Star weekend, as they do for the WNBA, the payoff would be much greater in world ratings. The NBA has the NBA Developmental league All-Star game during this All-Star weekend in New Orleans, but again no International game to hype up the talented Euros on NBA benches that just need a different NBA team to show the talent they have on the court. The International game would get fans from Puerto Rico to watch J.J Barea and fans from Mexico to watch Gustavo Ayon and every nation in Europe to watch the different Euro players in the game. Why the NBA has not brought this game into All-Star weekend is a mystery to EUROJOHNBBALL, as ratings world wide would blow the doors off any WNBA game, maybe the new NBA commissioner Adam Silver will see this and have A NEW COMMERCIAL PROMO, INTERNATIONAL GUYS GOT NEXT.
